Essential Functions:
Reliable and punctual attendance is essential.
Main current up-to-date reference materials on charitable programs and obtain concise and current understanding of the regulations & changes.
Help to build efficient workflows to support efficiencies.
Communicate necessary information to others as appropriate, support and research information to be offered for education to all in regards to financial assistance.
Manage and oversight of financial assistance programs and application process to ensure that it is maintained in accordance with the state of Colorado guidelines.
Detailed oriented is essential along with strong documentation skills.
Prepare and deliver all reports as directed timely.
Expert communication skills to train with hospital and clinic staff to ensure they have the knowledge of the proper process for capturing charity related applications.
Manage CAAS program, file quarterly reports to the state.
Managing the Colorado Indigent Care Program, provide yearly reports to the State of Colorado and work with all audits as needed.
Manage the Hospital Discounted Care program, provide yearly reports to the State of Colorado and work with all audits as needed Working with Administration to maintain the culture of the organization by assisting patients with special consideration in the financial assistance program.
Working with and assisting the Patient Financial Services department with good faith estimates for patients.
Write, implement & ensure adherence to policy & procedures within the department while collaborating with the director in implementation of processes that will identify continuous process improvement opportunities.
Communicate necessary information to all team members as appropriate.
Advanced problem solving capability and analytical skills.
Advanced MS Office capability to include Word and Excel.
Develop good communication between multiple departments.
Follow all standard operating procedures.
Communicate with understanding, patience, respectfulness and kindness to help to promote a positive atmosphere.
Other job related duties as assigned.
Education:
Education High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Licenses No professional licenses required Certifications No professional certification required.
Experience Extensive knowledge of charitable programs and state regulations in regard to this program preferred Wage Range:
The wage range for this position is $19.
29-$25.
92 Immunizations required for employment, including COVID-19.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
